Garden Tour: Jim and Diana's Beautiful Oasis

The other day I had the pleasure of meeting two long-term Lake Walker residents Diana and Jim. The lovely couple have a spectacular garden sprawled out over a half acre of land. It's a true treasure tucked in the middle of the city. Most striking are their 80 year old fuchsia azaleas, some of the most mature azaleas I've ever seen. They were so kind as to give me a tour, so I thought I'd share it with you. Enjoy!

  2. Oh my! They look so beautiful the way you photographed them. Thank you for sharing our "secret garden", as the kids call it, with everyone. Just the other day, an arborist told us that they were one of the oldest stands of azaleas he'd ever seen. He was truly in awe! Thanks again. Diana
