Happy Father's Day!

Dear "Dad",

Today is a day where Baby Z and I would like to take the time out to say thank you. Thank you for getting up in the middle of the night to change dirty diapers, for doing the dishes even when you are exhausted, for taking out the trash in the rain, and for working long days and nights to provide a comfortable material existence. Thanks for tickling when you are tired, lugging around heavy baby equipment, and going through the torture that is traveling with a baby so we can see out-of-town family. Also, thank you for giving up fight nights and expensive coffee drinks to help ease our budget. Thank you, Dad. We love you more than anything in this world, and are privileged to have you as our rock. Happy Father's Day, we look forward to many many more.

Love,

Wife & Baby

  1. Oh, Baby Girl is so absolutely GORGEOUS, and that's one happy daddy sitting there with her! How very blessed you are. What a lovely letter to your man.

Becoming parents sure changes us, doesn't it. Trust me, all the sleepless nights and budget adjustments are SO worth it.

Enjoy! And have a great week!

    1. Thanks Linda. My husband is one happy proud papa. As his wife it has been an especially beautiful thing to see. I think of how blessed I am every time I see the two of them smile :-)

All the sacrifices so far have been infinitely worth it!

  2. Oh how perfectly spoken...and what a great pic of Dad and Baby. AND, it is SO worth it! Dads just want to hear, "Thank you...and the occasional, you are appreciated." You just said it so sweetly. Thank you. Diana
